COA Heard Argument Today In Lottery Suit
Today the Court of Appeals heard oral argument in the lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the state lottery, which the General Assembly passed two summers ago. Former Justice (and current GOP gubernatorial candidate) Bob Orr argued for the plaintiffs. The suit challenges the procedure under which the lottery bill was passed in the General Assembly.
